OCRIS - the data logging solution from St. Arnaud Data Management

OCRIS is a dynamic data entry system developed by St. Arnaud Data Management (SADM) specifically to facilitate efficient and accurate data collection. OCRIS was originally developed for the mining and exploration industries but it can be used for many different data logging/collection applications.

OCRIS collects data via a linked worksheets and provides text-based or graphical templates for rapid data entry. Utilising defaults and company standard logging legends OCRIS eliminates common data entry errors and provides an accurate and speedy logging interface.

• Collect data into a series of linked spreadsheets for rapid data entry
• Manage data versioning via Export Status flags automatically set by the system
• Summarise data contained within the logger's database and display calculated values
• Transfer data directly to other servers/databases or utilise OXO files if running remotely and connectivity is not possible

OCRIS uses a single SQL Server database for both system configuration and data storage. The underlying database utilises fixed system tables and user configurable tables for data collection. All objects required to build the interface are contained in one secure database.
